If the nomination request complies with the requirements of the corporations act then the company has no choice. They have to put the nomination to shareholders.
That is why I criticised them last year for consenting to accept Kent's nomination, no consent involved, it is a legal requirement, they were being disingenuous in their wording to make it sound like they were being gracious, either that or they don't understand their legal obligations.
