NEW HOLE INTERSECTS WIDE ZONES OF MASSIVE AND SEMI-MASSIVE CHALCOCITE AND CHALCOPYRITE
(from 76m - chalcocite contains 79.9% copper metal, chalcopyrite contains 34.6% copper metal)

CURRENTLY DRILLING AT 86m AND STILL IN MINERALISATION
Diamond Drill Hole DODH445 has intersected significant zones of supergene chalcocite, chalcopyrite and cobalitiferous pyrite mineralisation at Fairfield, and is drilling ahead in mineralisation at 86m.

Fairfield is located in the north-west of the Company’s mining lease (ML90177), is approximately 2.5km from the flagship Las Minerale orebody and is one of several prospects at Rocklands for which a resource estimate has not yet been completed. Fairfield will potentially add to high-grade inventory to be processed through the Rocklands Plant.
Unit

The Fairfield mineralised structure is dominated by sulphides (chalcocite, chalcopyrite and pyrite).
In DODH445 a cobaltiferous rich pyrite rich zone (2-8% pyrite) was intersected from 41m, followed by a copper rich zone (4-6% chalcocite, 2% chalcopyrite and 2% pyrite) intersected from 76-80m in a weathered soft clay.

More competent, yet fractured and broken rock was intersected from 80m (2-5% chalcocite, <1% chalcopyrite), then a shear zone from 84m (1% chalcopyrite, 1% pyrite) to the current hole depth of 86m. Based on the results of the previous diamond drill hole (DODH443), a high-grade zone of chalcocite is expected after the shear zone.
