Mgt needs to get sp to 10c in a hurry to get the oppie cash, so they announce an exciting new venture to drive the sp home. Funded in the short term (given the sp is not above 5c and the oppies not in the money) by an SPP offered to all existing shareholders. The new investment fires the market and along with FP production commencement (with a surprise increase in flow rates i.e. assuming they were overly conservative with the 500k cubic ft) sp rises to >10c, oppies converted, 10M facility drawn down, new investment on the books, tonnes of cash ... everyone is a winner ...
Well we can always dream ... pure speculation but made me feel better over the weekend! I guess we shall wait and see ...
