I am against the Socius placement because the Ozz placement has left a very bad taste in my mouth and i think its too cheap and too much. In order to acquire rest of Mashala we could have used BEE2 money and avoided selling over 700m shares at around 4.3c average. Thats not a small number....700m
And we have absolutely no guarantee that these guys wont sell out for 10-20% profit.
If CCC is in such demand why the need to give away free attaching options, long dated and very cheap. Its obviously a free gift to Socius for willing to sign up to the placement.
The only way Ozz take 2, sorry i mean Socius will work out is if they a) hold all of their shares for more than 12 months and b) buy on market.
And their shareholder agreement is bulletproof - for Socius. Not sure if anyone has actually read the whole thing and understood much of it but its peppered with conditions. conditions which greatly benefit Socius and definitely not CCC or its shareholders.
Why get in bed with someone like that ??
