That said, I do wish to come to the defense of Rio/BHP execs as such and declare that they have a far tougher job than Twiggy in that they have no "control" in a shareholder sense. Therefore they must use rational argument to "make things happen" not just "brut force" as a controlling shareholder can..
The twig has done a great job to date.. But he will be marked on how the FMG saga ends.. not how it began..
Just something for you to ponder on..
