I'll bet it took them by surprise, because they hadn't thoroughly researched the company and put out a ball park figure. I love the 'consensus' term the brokers use to cover themselves. I think people forget these brokers are just everyday people who believe they have access to privileged information when in reality anyone can do their own research and come up with just as 'accurate' projections. I'm not saying all brokers are a waste of time but I hope most traders realise their advice needs to be taken with a grain of salt. DYOR
