I seem to remember reading in one recent announcement that MNM said it was still in contact with China Success.

My thoughts go like this....

It is likely that MNM is going to raise a great deal of cash and whoever they approached would have been doing their level best to keep the SP low to ensure the best outcome (for them) via VWAP .

Hence, when the "walls" at 1.6c and 1.8c fell MNM's shareprice could have gone through the roof.

This may have caused the potential investor to quickly decide do a deal and so the trading halt?
