Dear Mick,
Your name's been given to me by one of the numerous "posters" on the stock market chat web site, Hot Copper of which I'm sure you're aware. The question we have concerns MUL (Multiemedia) and their most recent announcement whereby a tranch of options are being donated to someone (singular or plural - who knows?) at a strike price of 1 cent when the SP is 4 plus cents. My enquiry/complaint to the ASX simply generated a response that "options cannot be given to the directors without shareholder approval so the options aren't for directors."
For the ASX rules to permit a listed company to donate options to "mates" exercisable any time before July 05 at a strike price 25% of the current SP is criminal and I (and many others) would enjoy seeing these so called pillars of the community brought to heel with a thud.
