Well if you don;t understand your own point how can you go off at me for doing the same thing?

    You state,
"An organisation such as the Catholic Church is not "human nature"."

So if it is not run along the lines of human nature, like ALL authority structures then I don't understand your complaint.

You go on to say "To say that "many filthy rich people and organisations operate in the same manner" just proves the point I am making. "

So your point seems to be that the Catholic Church is just like "many filthy rich people and organisations " but in your previous assertion you say "the Catholic Church is not "human nature".

I think the confusion lies in between your false expectations and assumptions Vs reality.

"You have just tacitly acknowledged they have no moral high ground. "

I never made ANY comments about the moral high ground and I don't think you did either until now. What does the moral high ground have to do with the Notre Dame fire? Either they pay for the repairs/insurance or they don't. If the super-rich choose to do so then that's their business and none of ours. Even if the French government offered to fix it up with tax payers funds then that still wouldn't be any of our business. The French citizens would have a right to complain however.

"You really need to improve your debating skills if you want to prove your positional rationale. "

And you need to improve your communication skills if you wish to improve yours.

And in news just in, Notre Dame is actually owned by the French state and not the Catholic Church anyway! The local diocese is only responsible for the contents apparently.
