You’re right. Beijing’s issues are irrelevant to NOV in Beijing’s present form/state. NOV would be better off looking to the European Union if AUstralia becomes too difficult for it commercially, regulatory and geopolitically. some parts of the EU are still lite-reg.
Costs might become an issue for NOV with the additional regulatory burden. all the rest is just how it gets there, the trash or byproducts of the commercial outcome.
