YES - IMO just like the 'conflict of interest' syncophant professionals, shutting down 2RT post LEAD trial analysis, in favour of the status quo i.e. progress to advanced AMD & pump endless - read recurring income - super expensive drugs into suffer's eye's.
IMO, 2RT is allowed for AMD is several country's, in a none RDP population, appears to do no 'harm' & can only/usually delay or stop progression to advanced AMD.
You have to ask yourself ... who is benefiting from stopping 2RT being used ?
Whoever partners with EYE in a new 2RT trial with a no RDP co-disease population, knows they will be up against BIG pharma & BIG $$ with BIG vested interest, BIG name professionals getting paid BIG $$ for their 'professional' support.
& so we what - oh & in some cases go blind with advanced AMD - collateral damage ?
