I can't remember the numbers used in the placement preso but I'm not sure about those numbers. The iTrack Advance costs around US$1000-$1,500 per device (so $1,500-$2200 AUD). That's still cheaper than other devices such as stents so I'm not sure where $500 comes from. The market for glaucoma surgical devices is about $600m, however the company will be looking to access the much larger glaucoma treatment market which is around US$6.1 billion (ie encouraging doctors to shift from drops to MIGS). There's also the even larger cataract surgery market (around US$10 billion) which they will be working on accessing.
