Marketing is meant to spark conversation, awareness, which it appears they have achieved as we are talking about it here. I agree with you that its not the best campaign for the intended audience (albeit I am not a doctor so maybe it is like you said haha).
I am going with the, its better they are doing something than nothing. If a Doctor hears about EYE and looks them up at least they will see they are active. There is nothing worse than looking at businesses social media page and seeing their last post was 2022. It leaves a terrible impression.
