Pay attention to advertisements on the TV, particularly the ones for the more boring insurance and similar companies. They will often use colourful childish advertisements to attract the attention of adult viewers. It seems as if the more boring the company, the more childish the advertisements are in order to hook customers. People are conditioned at birth to be attracted to happy and fun sounds, colours and images. No one wants to look at a slab of text on a white background outlining a surgical procedure, it’s not attractive. As long as the childish approach quickly shifts to one more suitable for adult and professional customers, they are doing a great job promoting the product. Nova Eye Medical have created what is clearly a very attractive, unique and memorable promotional campaign. By all measures they have succeeded with respect to marketing the device, now the key for them is whether they can convert these interested parties into long term customers through more targeted evidence-based promotion. It seems that they are doing very well with this so far. The growth speaks for itself.
