All good, I have access to broker trade data (via Day Trade Scans). It basically segments all trades made each day by each broker. Obviously it doesn’t tell you exactly who is buying, but you can use it to infer information. For example, CBA tends to be retail (who mostly use Commsec) whilst JP Morgan, Macquarie etc. tend to be larger soph/institutional investors. Again it is not definite, but you can combine it with other information (eg article on Salter Brothers about them buying up EYE shares, the existing ownership structure of EYE being mostly institutional/ larger investors and minimal retail holders) to make inferences about who is buying and who is selling.
