this is interesting, it’s hard to see how it’s justified given that many of the MIGS procedures listed are proven effective in clinical trials especially for some specific complicated situations. Also I don’t think iTrack was ever covered by the preceding LCDs? I’m assuming most sales were made through insurance providers outside of the government Medicaid program? Also I doubt ‘big pharma’ is involved, glaucoma medications (eye drops) are largely simple drugs that have been around ages and are thus off patent and cheap??
