Why do we need protection from traders? I can only think of two reasons: you are on a tight margin loan situation and forced to sell on a fall, or have a tight stop loss and the traders trigger it.
So by avoiding these scenarios, which is very easy to do, is there another reason we need protection?
Or perhaps it is protection from feeling sad because the value of the investment has gone down?
