this is my view......I am super duper surprised if Novartis will continue the deal.....
One of the reasons is that ARDS is a respiratory issue and Novartis is slowly but surely moving away from its respiratory pipeline.....They have few drugs in the offering but it's not their focus.....
One of the other potential reasons why Novartis did the initial deal is coz if I am not mistaken they are one of the only companies that's not associated or seems to be doing enough for Covid so this was an easy play.....Amount was small for them with little risk....
Good luck if they continue with it but I would be very surprised it they did ....
