if I had a decent short position here and saw The Novartis deal pending, then news on them securing a surge in cash… might look at trimming it at least. Especially seeing as it looks like we’re bouncing off the low and the worst is behind us.
imagine having a significant short here and waking up to a trading halt pending notice about a potential merger or worse.
these Green Day’s are encouraging even with only a small uplift. Good thing about the shorts is that they’re just delayed buyers (or so I hear)
