Yilgarn, the thought had also crossed my mind. I once mentioned Biota's stoush with GSK as a cautionary Aussie biotech tale that I hoped would be heeded by POH.

In a further twist on possible pharma tactics, EU regulators recently charged J&J and Novartis for collusion. It is alleged that J&J substantial monthly payments to Sandoz/Novartis to delay release of its generic fentanyl patch in the Netherlands for more than a year. Both pharmas have denied the allegations.

It will be very interesting to watch Novartis' next move re TPM diclofenac gel.
