APRA is being super cautious issuing RADI to NOV. It's in the best interests of both APRA & NOV to launch the banking business in an environment with some tailwinds in leau of headwinds.
I prefer the banking licence to be delayed until economic conditions are more favourable. It will destroy the SP if the banking business grows very slowly during uncertain economic times rather than growing fast in suitable conditions.
In the meantime, NOV is another payments business but soon as the banking licence is issued it will be seen similar to JDO.
NOV's partner Marqeta in USA was also down 70% from peak so this down trend is not exclusive to NOV. JDO is down 28% from it's peak.
