I think you will find the nature of this morning announcement relates to notifying the market of a change in securities held pre and prior to this issuance of new securities.
However, the number acquired relate to options being provided to the Directors as part of their Remuneration - see box where it says "remuneration options issued under Employee Incentive Plan as approved by shareholders as AGM held on 23 November 2022.
these have not been exercised. its just notifying the market of their creation. if they are later exercised that would be a separate announcement again (change of directors interest announcement)
since they were given as remuneration, there is no cash injection to NOV until when/if they are exercised.
