On one hand, especially in light of Thailand's behaviour to date, referring to Akara-Kingsgate as “our national gold mine” is creepy and scary…
on the other, KCN does have stated ambitions to do an IPO for Thai people and maybe this talk of “our national goldmine” is good PR, whetting the appetite for proud Thais to want to participate in the upcoming IPO.

as far as I am concerned, the sooner this IPO happens the better for the protection of existing shareholders, but I would hate for it to happen at this current low share price.
