    After detailed mapping, Novo bulk samples
    the walls of trenches collecting a few hundred kilograms up to
    several tons in each sample.
    Scrutineers are employed to watch over the process and seal sample containers.
    -
    Metal detectors are used to sweep trenches looking
    for strike signals.
