A bloke called willibrich posted on Novo Stockhouse Post # 26508579 last night saying he
has estimated that the samples taken from the ARV owned pit at Purdy’s should go
Bonanza grade.
My understanding of Bonanza grade in Australia is you are entitled to refer to any gold
assaying over 20 g/p/t as Bonanza grade. I sure hope he is correct as if that 700 kg
sample assays at anywhere around 20 g/p/t it could well light a fuse under both
ARV and Novo companies.
I wonder how they decided where to dig the pit. If it was just a random choice then
the ground around could be loaded. I recall Johnathonc posting about spinning around
blindfolded and moving 10 steps and coming up with the same huge nugget results.
No wonder they had to send in the Security blokes to guard the find.
