Summary of August 16th NR

When assays?
- Samples are much larger
- The issues were not anticipated
- Rock much harder
- Process optimalisation was difficult
- SGS system has improved significantly
- Crushing near capacity
- Metal detecting near capacity
- Weather problems
- In two or three weeks there will be assays
- Very clear picture of what is on site

Questions

Harder rock, more expensive?
- Lower cannibal conglomerate is particularly hard.
- Crushers simply couldn’t cut it
- It was hard to install the right crushers

Maybe in two to four weeks bulk sample information?
- Yes
- From CW two gold bearing reefs.
- Its not easy to find the gold bearing reefs
- Novo was able to identify each reef
- A marker: tuff was found in the top layer
- Thin layer. Follow the layer and you get the gold bearing reef associated with it
- The basement is the same conglomerate as at PW

What is the objective of the exploration work?
- Bulk sample results are needed for a mineralization report
- This report is needed to convert a exploration license into a mining lease
- Shows that Novo has a body of rock that is mineralized
- Moving it forward as if Novo is planning to do trial mining Question about open endedness of CW and PW
- It is a small area out of the Pilbara
- Tuff horizon at Egina and DEG area
- In a few weeks some very exciting things will be told
- Marindi has gold in conglomerates at Bellary Dome
- Novo does not believe in universal gold mineralization throughout the Pilbara
- It does appear to be a precipitation event
