Where is the 2.65 ton density per cu metre coming from? This isn't hardrock mining

Do you really think that a full scale mining operation is going to hand detect for recovery? Its still exploration mate. Its all about systematically defining a resource and working out the best process for recovery. Whether that be gravity, water, CIL, tomra, steinart etc.. Doesn't really matter.
In any case, 0.5g/t free dig at surface will still be highly profitable, if the scale is there.
