A couple of paragraphs that stand out.
Receipt of first bulk sample results including 15.7 gpt Au from a 304 kg sample of basal conglomerate from Trench 1 and 17.7 gpt Au from a 371 kg sample of basal conglomerate from Trench 2.
Current indications are that samples weighing 250-400 kg may be of insufficient size to accurately reflect grade. Samples weighing several tonnes may be required. On completion of this work, metallurgy sampling and assaying will be accelerated.
I'm not 100% sure on this but it may appear that the trenching results due in January may not be accurate enough to give a grading due to the size of the samples. Having said that, what they are seeing grade wise are very encouraging
I don't read anything as bad news in that announcement other than grading of the conglomerate is difficult and complex - which we already know.
TSX opens in about an hour so Novo's SP reaction to the news will ultimately be the indicator.
