2 things to support my continued hope that NVX is still a good thing and I am aware most posters here are also positive.
Firstly, they sought to raise $146M...they have raised $130 M via directors and Institutions.. These people now have serious skin in the game at $2.90 per share. That should give them enough incentive to make this work.
Secondly, of the original intended raise of $146 M around $95 M was earmarked for expansion of production capacity to 10ktpa within 2 years.
So, no, the expansion from 2ktpa capacity to 10ktpa capacity is not funded by debt as previously suggested.
In a nutshell , regarding production capacity, the initial plan for 2ktpa in 2021 has been upgraded to 10ktpa for 2022 then medium term target of 40ktpa for the period 2022-2025 and longer term 150ktpa 2026 - 2030.
For all those who may have dumped their holding for short term profit. I hope they are paying attention because I will just about bet you that the next capital raise for retail holders, if it happens at all, will not be at $2.90/share in order to get to 10ktpa but significantly more. Probably won't happen until after 2022 expansion is in the box and will be for the next expansions to 40ktpa and maybe 150ktpa.
Having said that, I have been stabbed by falling knives too often in my investing career and so will wait until I am confident a firm base has been established before adding more.
