CATL say thay can make million mile battery at volume now. NVX have some tech that if proven will allow them to make battery chemicals for a million battery, and do it much cheaper than current (wet) processes. In the meantime they have a couple of (very significant) potential customers who have ordered sample material for testing and validation. If that works out and volume orders for the materials follow, they'll be in a position to invest in scaling up the manufacturing process. Further down the track, they have potential tech for improving the manufacturing process for cathodes, and for better electrolytes, but probably not as advanced as the anode material development.
