This needs to be spelled out again for those hoping to piggyback on Tesla hype.

All of Novonix's single-crystal patents refer to Nickel-Manganese Cobalt chemistries.

Tesla use Nickel-Cobalt-Aluminium and they are the only people in the world using this chemistry. Everyone else uses NMC for high-performance automotive batteries.

Tesla are now using lower performance Lithium Ion-Phosphate battteries sourced from CATL for some Chinese-made Model 3s. But they still remain wedded to NCA chemistry for all their high-performance vehicles.

But IMO there will be ZERO commercial agreements b/w Novonix and Tesla. Which IMO is a great thing as Tesla European sales have collapsed in their biggest markets, and anyone with knowledge of forensic accounting knows that Tesla is the biggest fraud since Worldcom/Enron.

It's great to trade this stock on Tesla hype, but IMO the long term value will come from Novonix deals with CATL and other battery suppliers to VW, Renault-Nissan, BMW, GM etc.
