I am expecting growth in the company overall, but the Q1 financial statements https://ir.tesla.com/static-files/c1723af4-ffda-4881-ae12-b6f3c972b795 completely oppose the notion that they are generating free cash flow. In Q1 free cash was negative $895M. The free cash flow increased overall because they sold credits - this does not mean they themselves generated free cash. They certainly have been generating free cash flow in previous quarters since Q2 2019, but Q1 2020 was understandably negative.
Again I'm on your side with the overall hope that Tesla goes up and succeeds but we must be like a hawk to review financial statements to determine when the share is overvalued vs undervalued.
Integrating market sentiment into that is another story completely.
