So what can we read whilst waiting OH here is something .........How many times has mesoblast dropped significantly on absolutely no news?
My guess is that it's been more times than you'd like to count. And probably some of those mysterious price drops were so painful, that you decided to sell your shares for fear of even greater losses. Yet in the days and weeks that followed we actually bounced higher.
These events are not really mysterious. And, unfortunately, they are not uncommon.
Instead they are the result of the very profitable strategies employed by computer driven High Frequency Traders. Yes, those same players who make up about 50% of all stock market trades. Some of these stealthy groups are so effective that they rarely, if ever, have a losing day............................What can we do about it ..My answer is get algo trading banned and get people back to the market, its a disgrace what these HFT,s are doing daily on the ASX .........................V
