Aurora Funds Management's proposed takeover of Molopo for 13.5cps has reached the Takeovers Panel, though no sitting panel has yet been appointed and no decision has been made as to whether to conduct proceedings.
Molopo wants final orders that Aurora withdraw the proposed bid and that Aurora and Keybridge Capital each be prohibited from acquiring or offering to acquire or announcing an intention to acquire a relevant interest in any of its shares until after January 7.
It also wants interim orders preventing Aurora from lodging a bidder's statement and for Aurora to publicly say the proposed bid can't proceed as it would be contrary to the relevant order.
