Fantastic. Bring it on - that will make UCL even better buying than it is now.

I get frustrated by these sort of comments which are loose talk about a very serious issue.

Why do you think George Bush would be keen to start another conflict in the Middle East - and by extension another rallying point for fundamentalist fanatics that have multiplied through Iraq? What makes you so sure that he can get support from his domestic constituency who are seeing at least one of their soldiers dying every day in Iraq? How do you think he is going to sell his message to the world at large? Do you think he will produce "intelligence" such as that on WMD?

Ok. He has a head start compared to Iraq because all of the permanent members of the Security Council want for Iran to conduct their nuclear ambitions in an appropriate manner. However note that they are not all opposed to Iran having nuclear energy (in fact Bush himself is not). Further at least two (Russia and China) have significant strategic relationships with Iran that they will very unwillingly prejudice, particularly China that needs access to Iran's energy reserves. It's much better for China to have that now with the US currently having no interest then in a future scenario that might see the US competing with them for Iranian oil.

Bush might get some sort of sanctions through the Security Council but war? Within 12 months?
