i am am 100% sure the the guys in EMR will have done their homework at the very start of the project. You don’t put this much of your own money and effort into a site if you think the political situation is unstable.
EMR is only one of a number of companies with contracts in a growing market in Cambodia which is benefiting the population.
Having recently found a large oil and gas reserve offshore. A number of multinational companies are in talks with the Cambodian government to get production to an advanced state.
An oil rig and the production isn’t cheap so dont tell me these companies haven’t done a thorough risk assessment on the political situation.
