SHFE copper inventory 185kt and dropping, LME 170kt and dropping. COMEX small fry who cares. China are not going to ban Aussie copper conc imports as they are desperate atm. If they do it will be just like WA barley tariff imposition. They picked up new markets at the same price and China missed out on a premium product and substituted with shite. Unless there is an overwhelming over supply of conc (which there isn't) then it will find a nice new home somewhere else and producers will have learned a lesson not to over expose to China. Traders will sort it out, producers won't have to lose a minutes sleep over it if it does happen.
