Pressure on WA to speed up port works

Western Australian company Mineral Resources has won access to capacity for 4.4 million tonnes of coal at the state's Kwinana harbour in Perth. Indian energy company Lanco Infratech had planned to use the space won by Mineral Resources to ship coal to India from its Griffin Coal mine. The State Government is now under pressure to bring forward expansion of the southern port of Bunbury.
