If you think CXY 'should' take on blame then you are obviously living in a fantasy land clown.

On the contrary... I fully agree CXY should take ALL the blame for the... what was it, 2ppb of benzene detected a few metres away from their plant and the ZERO detected outside their project area? I get more benzene when I have a soft drink or walk down the street outside my office. I'm quite happy for Cougar to wear that one, because let's face it, the casing failure WAS their fault.

They shouldn't have to take the blame for the false readings which are what started this whole fuss. If not for the false readings, they would never have been shut down in the first place and this would never have been an issue at all.
