    Dead right. Labor would be foolish to even worry about trying to match the desperate Liberal stunt. 5c/ litre!!!...WOW!!! As though that's going to achieve anything significant.

    Battlers that are really struggling at the moment with interest rates (and remember who was in office when the interest rate hikes started) would on average use probably less than 100 litres of fuel a week. So Brendan the Irrelevant is going to save them $5.00. WOW!!!

    I can't believe that Labor isn't just treating this bit of Liberal Party 'ingenius' with the disdain, contempt and more to the point, ridicule, that it deserves.

    Fact is, we are in a changing world and if the Liberal Party wasn't so cynical and small minded about 'changes' that are obviously occurring in this world, they would have been a bit more proactive in the past decade, instead of just being led blindly and pointlessly by George Bush, paying absolutely no attention to climate change and peak oil.
