I'm not saying a takeover is currently in our best interests, but when you're dealing with a monolith like Hilcorp, you can't discount the possibility completely. I once worked in an Australian company that was taken out by a large US outfit, and the figures that were used to complete the transaction in a 'timely manner' were nothing short of mind boggling. Whatever the case, this year is going to be very different now the groundhog days have ended, and where we end up as shareholders in Feb 2010 will IMO be a very good place.
Currently a bit of trading going on in the shares, but last week has flushed a lot out IMO. Massive upside at 20c, the good news from Friday definitely hasn't sunk in to our market.
