Is the lack lustre reaction perhaps more to do with the Gorgon Gas development being given environmental approval during the week?
Its a bit of mixed messages for the market, TSV gets the royalty cut AND Gorgon gets approval, obviously teh government supports both ventures and is keen to develop all gas supply sources.
I just don't think this will fly until its absolutely 100% commercial, its had it few trial jumps and dumps with previous announcements, now the market wants to hear a production deadline.
I think the fact that the speculation is basically over means its not a volatile fluctuatig specy anymore, its a non producing gas producer.
At least the lack of SP volatility should keep the day traders away!
