re: for ian w re production casing No there was an interesting exchange on the Yahoo CWEI chat room last night in which one PSA supporter asked the significance of the "liner".
The reply from a learned American poster was that the liner could not be called a production liner or casing. It was just a smaller straw following a larger straw to seal off the intervals over that section of the hole which contained the sands they have intersected.
It doesn't necessarily mean that the whole 1930 feet is productive sand. But that said the same poster said that the Scout report was obviously very positive given that they had run the liner over that interval (and without down hole problems) and were completing the well for production.
Sorry if I led anybody astray. I just wish the company would put us all out of our suspense!!! Be nice to get some good news for a change.
