    Sure...but removing the "transaction" from a vetting process and then seemingly....basing the transaction on the highest bidder is to me anyway, highly distasteful and approaching the depraved. It also, by definition, means this sort of thing and other equally disturbing things will occur at ever-increasing frequencies.

    Sure. The vetting process is imperfect. But surely as it is...is infinitely better than a system sans such a process.

    What's next...sell body parts to the highest bidder?
    Harvest parts based on a "commodity price" model?

    You don't think this is deeply retrograde despite its progressive label?
