Firstly no plane leaves the ground or lands on operations without NATO force command and control. We are currently operating out of the UAE and Kuwait as part of CJTF-OIR. Whatever Air assets we have over there aren’t coming from Australia, they will be coming from Al-Minhad which is only a 3 hour flight to Kabul. The RAAF will be working under NATO force command efforts, co-ordinating the ex-fill of both Australian and Afghan nationals. It isn’t an every man for himself scenario that you are ignorantly trying to suggest
