I sent an email to the company recently, asking when will the asx suspension be lifted and are they on track for sale of 74% interest in South African Sub for the 15th Jan 2015?
Here is the reply. Think it best l keep the person name to myself! The afrikaners comment has blown me away! Its always about losing money in some form or way with OKAP.
"Timing is 31 jan and we are on track - we are looking to come back on trading second week of jan - edf / absa changed their mind (coal prices not pretty) hence why oct rights issue turned into sale process - to be fair to jb - you can't help coal prices , geology (issues at penumbra) and the afrikaners completely sucked the company dry to the tune of 3m a year which would have allowed things to tread water"
