Caruso appointed CEO of Crosslands 2/06/2010 7:53:01 PM Iron ore miner Murchison Metals Ltd has appointed Andrew Caruso as chief executive of Crosslands Resources Ltd, its equal joint venture with Japan's Mitsubishi.
Murchison said in a statement on Wednesday that Mr Caruso would commence in his new role on June 8.
Mr Caruso replaces former Crosslands chief executive Stuart Hall.
Mr Caruso in late April resigned as managing director of the Clive Palmer-majority owned Australasian Resources Ltd, citing personal reasons.
Australasian said in a statement at the time that he would leave the company on June 19.
Crosslands is operating its Stage 1 Jack Hills iron ore mine in Western Australia's midwest region and studying a major expansion targeted to commence production in 2013/14.
