Nice find verismotex, and what a great development imo.

On the one hand the confidential status rule has provided companies including SSN the ability to keep wildcat well results secret in order to secure more surrounding land at better deals in case such wells show good results.

On the other hand, it provides them the ability to hide results if they are poor as well.

Given where SSN is at the moment imo the importance of the 2nd factor outweighs the 1st and investors want to see what the results are, good or bad, not only for SSN but also neighbouring players like Devon and Noble as well, so we can assess the value and risk of our investment.

So Wyoming is now catching up to other states like Montana where the data is more openly available.

While we should get a better picture on SSN from the quarterly report due out on Tuesday at the latest, from Wednesday we will see the raw data, warts and all, as opposed to just the company's take on progress.

We may or may not like what we see, but at least we will be more fully informed about our investment.
