Are there any legal eagles (....preferably not Brett) who can...

Are there any legal eagles (....preferably not Brett) who can say where they stand legally now? If they wanted to appeal the ASIC fine, would they need to fund that themselves? Also, now that they have both been found to be guilty, do they need to pay back any money that D&O insurance might have paid to fund their legal defence? Anyone know how any of this works? Would love some ideas.

Also, does being in a different jurisdiction make it harder for these things to happen? Are they both toast?
