What makes you think we wouldn't be in the same situation with uranium in ten years time as we are (at least the eastern states) are in now with gas. The market price of uranium will rise and Australia will sell it to all other countries before we get to use it for our own energy needs. We will then find ourselves buying it back for double or triple the price. It's just going to be history and stupidity repeating itself.
